A bet on the club's potential

When your average gate is 350 people, a two-Michelin-star kitchen taking over your catering is not a volume-based commercial play. Whatever gets passed through the hatch on a Saturday afternoon, the sums involved are negligible next to Ynyshir's normal daily turnover.

Instead, this is a local business using its massive national profile to help elevate its local club. It puts a spotlight on a mid-Wales football team, making Park Avenue a genuine destination on a Saturday.

It arrives at a moment when the club is actively building for the future. Aberystwyth recently confirmed it had received a Tier One Licence from the FAW's First Instance Body — the domestic prerequisite for eventual European qualification, even as the exact shape of the 2026-27 season remains to be confirmed.
