Who we are

The Pyramid is published by Bloodstone Capital UK Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Bloodstone Capital UK Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

If you join our waitlist for the football intelligence platform, we collect the email address you provide, and record the date you submitted it and which part of the site you submitted it from. We do not require your name or any other information to join the waitlist.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect and store the email address you provide, the page you signed up from, and the date. We then sync that address to Beehiiv, the third-party email platform that sends the newsletter on our behalf. Beehiiv acts as our data processor for delivery. Beehiiv's own privacy policy applies to how they handle your data: beehiiv.com/privacy.

We do not use analytics or tracking cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar tool, and we do not set any cookies beyond what is strictly necessary for the site to function (for example, if you create an account on the platform in future, a session cookie to keep you signed in).

Standard web server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) as a normal part of serving web pages securely. We do not use this data for tracking or profiling, and do not combine it with any other data we hold about you.

Why we collect it

• Waitlist emails: solely to notify you when the football intelligence platform becomes available. We will not use this address for any other marketing purpose without asking you first.
• Newsletter emails: to send you the newsletter you signed up for, via Beehiiv on our behalf.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We use the following processors to run the site:

• Beehiiv — sends the newsletter on our behalf.
• Supabase — hosts our database, including the waitlist table.

Each of these processors is contractually required to protect your data and only use it for the purpose we've specified.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist email addresses until the platform launches and you've either registered for an account or asked us to delete your entry, whichever comes first. If the platform is delayed indefinitely or discontinued, we will delete the waitlist on a reasonable timescale and notify anyone still on it beforehand where practical.

We keep newsletter signup records until you ask us to delete them. Newsletter delivery and retention on Beehiiv's platform is governed by Beehiiv's own policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data (for example, to be removed from the waitlist)
• Object to how we use your data
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we've handled your data unlawfully

Children

The Pyramid is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes, and update the date at the top.
