The Pyramid partners with Boreham Wood FC

The Pyramid has joined Boreham Wood FC as a new commercial partner for the 2026/27 season.

The partnership, announced by the club on 19 August, will see The Pyramid branding displayed pitch-side at Meadow Park, putting the publication in front of supporters at a club operating in exactly the part of English football we were created to cover.

The Pyramid launched with a simple focus: football finance below the Premier League.

We cover the accounts, ownership structures, investment, regulation and commercial decisions shaping clubs throughout the EFL and non-league game — the financial stories that often receive considerably less attention than those at the top of English football.

Boreham Wood therefore feels like a natural place for us to be.

More than a logo beside the pitch

This isn't simply about buying an advertising board.

As The Pyramid grows, we want the brand to exist inside the football pyramid we're writing about — at grounds, around clubs and among the supporters, directors and businesses that make it work.

Boreham Wood gives us that opportunity at National League level.

The club returned to the National League for 2025/26 following promotion from National League South and continues to operate in one of the most financially interesting parts of English football: the increasingly narrow territory between traditional non-league economics and the professional EFL.

It's precisely the territory The Pyramid exists to understand.

Building The Pyramid

The partnership comes during the first stage of The Pyramid's development.

Alongside our independent News and Analysis coverage, we're building a football intelligence platform designed to make financial and corporate information on clubs below the Premier League easier to find, compare and understand.

That will include deeper club intelligence, ownership and company information, financial data, alerts and saved views.

We're also expanding our presence within football itself.

Boreham Wood joins Corinthian-Casuals as one of the first clubs where supporters will see The Pyramid branding pitch-side this season.

And we're going to use the experience for some research of our own.

We've already started examining what football sponsorship actually costs — from reported Premier League shirt deals worth tens of millions of pounds to front-of-shirt opportunities in non-league football worth a tiny fraction of that.

Now we're sponsors ourselves.

So over the course of the season, we'll also be looking at the other side of the equation:

The Pyramid was built to cover football below the Premier League.

Being present at the grounds where that football is actually played feels like the logical next step.
